Customs Statements

Customs statements are generated by the system based on the Preliminary Statement Print Date (PSPD). Brokers can access, authorize, and manage these statements through the platform, tracking duties, taxes, and other important details related to their entries.

1. Navigate to Payment Statements
   • After logging into the platform, go to the "Payments" section.

   • Select "Statements" to view a list of all your customs statements.
      

     

2. Viewing the Statement List
   • The statements are listed with details such as the statement number, PSPD date, whether it's for a broker or importer, port of entry, and filer code.
   • Use the navigation buttons (Next, Back) to browse through multiple pages of statements.

1. Expand Statement Details

   • Click on a statement to expand and view details for each entry and shipment listed in the statement.
      

     

   • This expanded view provides all the necessary information for each entry, allowing you to authorize them.
      
2. Selecting and Updating PSPD Date
   • You can select a new PSPD date if needed. For example, if a statement was released in July, select August as the PSPD date.
   • After selecting the new date, click "Update." A confirmation dialog will appear, where you can choose to transmit the updated information.

1. Authorizing Statements

   • Once the details are reviewed, confirm the authorization by clicking the "Submit" button.

     

   • The statement will move from "Pending Authorization" to the "Authorized" tab.
2. Managing Authorized Statements
   • In the "Authorized" tab, you can view all authorized statements.
   • If you remove an entry off the statement, it will appear crossed out in the list, showing that it was removed but everything else remains.
   • You can check the Automated Data Interface (ADI) response to verify that the payment was accepted.

1. Download Preliminary and Final Statements
   • Each statement includes a download button, allowing you to download an Excel file containing all relevant data.
   • The downloaded file will include a "Preliminary" tab showing estimated duties and totals, and a "Final" tab which becomes available a few days after the preliminary statement is authorized.
2. Printing Statements
   • You also have the option to print the statement details directly from the platform.

1. Accessing Daily Statements
   • The platform provides access to daily customs statements, which you can view by selecting the daily option.
2. Accessing Monthly Statements
   • Similarly, you can view monthly statements by clicking on the monthly option in the statements section.
